Following the flooding caused by Typhoon Bualoi in October 2025, EGATi, a shareholder and close partner of NNP1PC, donated community-use materials of meaningful value to Hat Gnuin and Thahua villages, Bolikhan District, Bolikhamxay Province, both neighboring the NNP1 Hydropower Project. The donation included tables, chairs, tents, and electric fans to support communal activities and strengthen local facilities in both villages. The handover ceremony on December 5, 2025, was led by Mr. Oran Bumrungpornpisarn, Deputy Managing Director of the Technical Division of NNP1PC.
In Hat Gnuin Village, the Village Chief and community members received the donated items on behalf of the village. The Village Chief expressed deep appreciation, noting that the community is grateful for the continued care and support from EGATi and NNP1PC. He emphasized that the donated items will be used for the greatest benefit of the village.
In Thahua Village, the Deputy Village Chief and villagers welcomed the contribution. The Deputy Village Chief conveyed heartfelt thanks to EGATi and NNP1PC, stating that the donation reflects sincere concern for the well-being of downstream communities affected by the natural disaster. He further affirmed that the village committee will ensure proper management, maintenance, and effective use of the donated items in accordance with the donors’ intentions.
NNP1PC extends its sincere appreciation to EGATi for their generosity and continued partnership in supporting affected communities. The contribution demonstrates a shared commitment to strengthening community resilience and enhancing local livelihoods in the project area.
