JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN HYDROPOWER DEVELOPMENT

Nam Ngiep 1 is a hydropower project under operation in the central provinces of the Lao PDR. The Nam Ngiep 1 Power
Company (NNP1PC), co-owned by Kansai Electric Power of Japan, EGAT International Company Limited, and the Lao Holding State Enterprise, is operating a 290-MW hydropower project to provide clean renewable electricity and contribute to poverty reduction in Laos. To assist in creating and operating a world-class hydropower project with international-standard environmental and social Programs, NNP1PC is looking for the following staff:

POSITION: SENIOR OFFICER– HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Location: Owner Site Office and Village in Hat Ngiun Village, Bolikhan District, Bolikhamxay province

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
− Coordinate all recruitment processes from processing the request from recruiting divisions,
− Conduct orientation for new staff and inform HR related policies, procedures, instruction, rules and regulations to
staff at OSOV1 & 2,
− Assist in creating learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development
opportunities for employees,
− Monitor staff employment contracts,
− Coordinate with all divisions in preparation of staff annual performance appraisal,
− Prepare application of the annual expat quota by coordinating with relevant divisions and contractors,
− Monitor the implementation of expatriate quota at OSOV1 & 2,
− Assist in preparation, development and update of Human resources documents to ensure they are in line with
relevant Laws, rules and regulations,
− Provide human resource support to staff at OSOV1 & 2 on leave request, health insurance claim process, claim on
other benefits etc.,
− Prepare the weekly and monthly reports of the Human Resource Management,
− Attend meeting and take minutes when required, and
− Perform other Human Resource tasks as assigned by Team leader or Manager when required.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
− Diploma or Bachelor Degree of Human Resource Management, business administration or relevant degree,
− Minimum three years of working experiences in human resource management and development preferably with
international companies or organizations,
− Deep understanding of Lao Labor Law and other rules and regulations on human resource management,
− Experience in negotiation, and conflict resolution,
− Experience in initiation learning and development process,
− Proactive,
− Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
